My job is getting old...

I want a new job. I feel it's way past time to move on and there is no room to move up. The only real satisfaction I get is helping other people and I honestly don't feel like I'm helping them that much and that my talents are being wasted. I am blessed to have this job and the benefits are great and its pretty relaxed but I need to do something more with my life. Plus my boss is creating this hostile environment I no longer want to be a part of. He gives us no real incentive to motivate us and he's always talking crap behind our backs. I know nobody's perfect and there's always "one of those types" anywhere you go but I HATE dreading coming to work almost every day. Maybe I just should suck it up, change my mindset and stop complaining. Or maybe I should be gangsta like Michael Bolton and beat down our printer w/ a baseball bat.

So close but no cigar

Well, were coming towards the end of this craziness called pregnancy. I know it's been months since my last post and I apologize. I'm sure you've been following my wife's blog: turnipnroses.blogspot.com. 1 week till the due date and were hoping baby Q will come sooner because he's murdering my wife's body. Knowing our luck he'll be popping out of my wife 2 weeks from now. We shall see. I was thinking about starting a gadget blog. What do you think? Also I posted using the new blogger app for iPhone. It's pretty slick...

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. There is a lot going on and I haven't really been in the mood to blog but I want to keep this thing going. Well, here's what's going on: I have to get my car repaired which is going to cost me about 600 dollars to fix a seatbelt, my wife's kid brother is visiting with us-he's a cool kid errrr...teenager, mowing the lawn sucks, baby Q moves and kicks all the time-it's really awesome, still searching for a new job. That's about it for now. I will be posting more pics soon. Stayed tuned in.

Cleaning the house

So cleaning the house kind of sucks but is rewarding at the same time(once it's clean). My wife has been doing most of it. I cleaned some of the kitchen cabinets tonight. Mowed the lawn yesterday. Wasn't too bad compared to the last house I lived at. So were almost finally moved in. Still waiting on our master bedroom and nursery to be re-carpeted but our property manager is giving us flack over it. He's saying it didn't smell that bad when he looked at it and that the carpet was still wet which made it smell but it smelled like animal urine long before that and steam cleaning it just brought it up more. He had the carpet guy come by and he looked at it and this time we had the windows closed and he said it was pretty much toxic and needed to be replaced. So the carpet guy took it out and he could barely stand the stench while trying to rip it out. The room still smells a little bit so we're going to have to mop it up a bit before they put new carpet down.

The property manager is coming tomorrow to look at the carpet again to see it needs to be replaced even though clearly it does-you can see the stains on it. I just can't wait to have our bedroom put together. It's ridiculous that we just moved in and the realtor and owners are still debating on whether or not our MASTER BEDROOM and NURSERY carpet needs to be replaced.

Let's just let my pregnant wife and our soon-to-be son suffocate to death.

Eustis Wedding/Orlando Honeymoon

So were married! Still feels surreal. We were wed in Eustis, FL at the Chapel of Love which is about an hour away from Orlando. We had the "starlight gazebo ceremony". It was pretty exciting. I was pretty nervous. It's just crazy that I'm married. We go to pick up the pictures tonight. Yesterday we celebrated at Disney World's Magic Kingdom!

new haircut and shades

So me and my fiancee went out on the town yesterday and got her hair did. While I was waiting, I decided to go to Lenscrafters to get some shades. I got a pair of sick Ray Ban's for 25.00! That's including prescription lenses. My vision benefits with HP are pretty sweet. Anyway while waiting for them to be made, I picked up Sam from her hair appointment. Her new hairdo is so punk rock. haha Such a drastic difference. It may take some getting use to because I'm use to her long hair but it's still sexy and she looks great as always.

So, me and my finacee rededicated ourselves to Jesus last night! How awesome is that? God is good all the time.  We plan on going to a cell group getogether this Friday for married peeps. Time to mix and mingle. Word. We are finally at 20 weeks! Crazy how time flies. Can't wait to see my son. Sam is feeling him more now. Wish I could feel him. I guess I will be able to in a couple more weeks. We shall see!

Easter Sunday

Had a nice Sunday. Woke up late...did a bit more spring cleaning. haha got rid of some of those boxes and paperwork and old gadgets that Sam so desperately wanted me to part with. Watched Inception and Zombieland again. Then went to an awesome Easter church service at the Wave. Great message. Feeling a lot better now and I believe Jesus will get me through this funk that I'm in...wholeheartedly. Also had a delicious Carvel ice cream cake afterwards to celebrate Mother's Day early. Well, Sam really wanted ice cream and cake today so I decided to combine the two and get a Carvel cake. Didn't realize it was a Mother's Day cake until we got home.

Planet Pizza

Not to be confused with Pizza Planet from Toy Story. On a sci-fi scale from 1 to 10, I gave it a 3 mainly due to the fact they had some bangin pizza. The setting and props were pretty tacky. See for yourself below. They had a gameroom which I didn't have the chance to check out. Maybe that would have been a more redeeming factor. They also had a bar and an old drunk man sitting at it like he'd been a regular there for many cycles (farscape slang).

Doctor Who?

SO ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! Matt Smith truly is the best doctor. He's the only one that actually looks and conducts himself like an alien. Like a timelord should behave....no offense David Tennant or Christopher Eccleston or any of the older doctors(you guys are lovely) but he trumps all of you. My fiancee is in love with this show too but I think she prefers DT or CE.
