Sam heard the heartbeat right off the bat after about 5 mins of probing around. Of course when I got home and we tried it, we were unable to find it. Thought we found it a couple times but were pretty sure it was Sam's heart. Later that night, we tried it again and success! Pretty faint but we could hear it. It's pretty awesome getting to hear your own baby's heartbeart. Can't really explain it. It's just crazy that there's a little living being inside of her and it's a part of me.
Very sweet actually. If I remember correctly, the baby will be more active after Sam eats something so that may be a good time to listen. (Although, your little one is pretty little still. That may work better later on.)
ReplyDeleteawesome! i rented one from babybeat.com when i was pregnant and LOVED it. i listened to him every single day...it was awesome for peace of mind! :) :) and hearing his heartbeat as the father (since you can't actually feel him too much yet) is special i think :)
